Qualifications

• Knowledge of current fire safety legislation and how it is applied in the UK Fire and Rescue Service.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Risk Based Inspection Programme, both pre-planned and reactive.
• Provide advice, support and guidance to business owners and others to reduce fire risk.
• Collaborate with other authorities on statutory consultations and respond to Alleged Fire Risks.
• Enforce the Fire Safety Order by collecting evidence and writing reports; evaluate events via SAG.
• Review and update Policy documents.
