The role offers a clear progression path with full support toward Chartership, and the chance to work closely with architects, designers and contractors.

Salary is up to £75,000, with ongoing development and exposure to high-profile projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Fire Engineer with consultancy or technical background.
• Experience developing fire strategies for commercial/residential buildings.
• Solid knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a wider team.
• Relevant engineering or fire safety qualifications.
• Chartered status or progression towards chartership is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire strategies for commercial and residential buildings.
• Provide fire engineering advice throughout design and construction.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Review designs and provide practical, technically sound fire safety solutions.
• Produce technical reports, fire strategies and supporting documentation.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Support delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
• Keep up to date with legislation, guidance and best practice.
