Purosearch is recruiting an experienced Fire Engineer to join a growing consultancy in Manchester, delivering Fire Strategies across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential schemes.

You will work with architects, designers and contractors, review designs, produce technical reports and liaise with clients. The role provides a clear pathway to Chartership with full support for your professional development and opportunities to progress into senior positions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Fire Engineer in a consultancy or technical environment.
• Experience developing fire strategies for commercial and/or residential buildings.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing fire strategies for commercial and residential buildings.
• Providing fire engineering advice throughout design and construction.
• Collaborating with architects, designers and contractors and other engineers.
• Reviewing designs and delivering practical fire safety solutions.
• Producing technical reports and supporting documentation.
• Attending meetings and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Supporting project delivery from concept to completion.
• Staying up to date with legislation and industry practice.
