Job summary

GreenSquareAccord Limited is seeking a Fire Safety Data Control Officer for our Birmingham head office. Hybrid role based at B1 2JB with a salary of £44,290 per annum. You will analyse fire safety data, support risk assessments, and help allocate work and resources to protect residents and property.

The role requires a Level 4 Fire Safety certificate or NEBOSH equivalent, strong data skills, and the ability to translate complex guidance into actionable plans. DBS check may be required.

• Hold a Level 4 certificate in Fire Safety or NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience managing fire safety data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard lives and protect property by ensuring Fire Risk Assessments are carried out and actions completed in a timely manner.
• Interpret technical guidance from contractors and FRA Assessors and translate into practical operational guidance for teams.

About the role

As Fire Safety Data Control Officer, you will be responsible for helping to safeguard people`s lives and protecting property by using our fire safety data to ensure we carry out Fire Risk Assessments in line with our programme and complete any required actions in a timely manner.

You will use your fire safety knowledge and data analysis skills to turn information into insight, supporting business stakeholders to make decisions regarding the allocation of work and prioritisation of resources.

About you

You will understand the importance of prioritising customer safety and be able to influence and work collaboratively with internal departments to improve outcomes.

You will provide specialist fire safety advice to operational teams within the business. Therefore, you will need to hold a Level 4 certificate in Fire Safety or NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or equivalent qualification, to be able to Interpret technical advice and guidance from external contractors, fire engineers and FRA Assessors and translate into practical operational guidance for internal teams.

It is essential that you hold strong analytical and reporting skills and have experience of managing and reviewing fire safety data from multiple sources within the housing sector or customer service environment.
