Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Fire Safety Advisor to join our Health and Safety and Emergency Planning Team. Based at Poole or Dorchester with some flexible home working, you will visit sites to conduct Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Surveys and deliver Fire Safety Training across Dorset.

You will bring advisory fire safety experience, be able to communicate at all levels, hold a driving licence and vehicle, and have knowledge of relevant regulations; NHS

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire Safety advisory roles across multi-site environments.
• Ability to communicate complex fire safety concepts to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of relevant Fire Safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit Trust sites to conduct Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Door surveys.
• Deliver Fire Safety Training to staff and managers.
• Support sites across Dorset in meeting statutory responsibilities and risk reduction.
