Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust in the North West is recruiting two permanent Fire Safety Advisors to ensure Trust sites meet all statutory fire requirements and to implement robust fire safety policies. The role focuses on delivering fire risk assessments, staff training, and oversight of contractors to ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice.

Qualifications

• Relevant Fire Safety Qualification, Degree/Diploma.
• Evidence of continued professional Development.

Responsibilities

• The post holders will be responsible for ensuring that Trust sites meet all statutory fire requirements.
• The Fire Safety Advisors will complete Fire Risk Assessments, focus on providing staff training and provide general support in relation to fire safety.
• The Fire Safety Advisors will provide an oversight of the service providers fire safety responsibilities and ensure all their services comply with legislation and good industry practice.
