Job description

Fire Safety Advisor

The Fire Safety Advisor ensures Trust-wide fire safety compliance, delivers statutory training, and provides expert guidance in line with NHS Firecode (HTM 05) and fire safety legislation RRFSO 2005.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work on behalf of the Trust to deliver a safe environment with minimal fire risk, enabling the highest standards of clinical care for patients.
  2. Provide a comprehensive, inclusive, and professional fire management service for the Trust.
  3. Offer expert advice on all fire-related matters.
  4. Carry out inspections and risk assessments on all Trust properties.
  5. Train staff of all disciplines and levels on fire-related matters (Core training).

All activities are within a national and NHS fire prevention framework, following standards, advice, and guidance from the Home Office and NHS.
