Job summary

ProGroup Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor for a growing fire safety consultancy based in Hebburn, near Newcastle. The role focuses on independently conducting FRA across housing, commercial and education settings, delivering compliant, practical safety solutions.

You will produce professional FRA reports, perform fire door inspections, and advise clients on remediation actions while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments.
• Good knowledge of Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments across Social Housing, Residential Blocks and Commercial Buildings.
• Produce detailed FRA reports with practical and proportionate recommendations.
• Carry out Fire Door Inspections and passive fire protection surveys when required.
• Liaise with clients, site teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute technical knowledge within the team.
