Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join a leading national fire safety contractor and consultancy in Reading. You will predominantly complete Type 1 and Type 3 FRA, inspecting buildings and producing detailed reports for diverse tenants and properties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience completing Fire Risk Assessments
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance
• Experience with Type 1 and/or Type 3 assessments
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• A professional and methodical approach
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Relevant fire safety qualifications or professional memberships

Responsibilities

• Completing high-quality Type 1 and Type 3 Fire Risk Assessments
• Carrying out thorough inspections of residential and commercial buildings
• Identifying fire safety risks, deficiencies and areas of non-compliance
• Producing clear, accurate and detailed FRA reports
• Providing practical recommendations and remedial actions
• Liaising with clients, building managers and other stakeholders
• Working in accordance with relevant fire safety legislation, guidance and industry best practice
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring assessments are completed to a high standard
