Total Fire Group, part of the Ranger Group, is expanding and seeking skilled Fire Risk Assessors to join one of the North West's respected, UKAS-accredited fire safety consultancies. Whether at Foundation, Intermediate or Advanced Levels, we offer a path with mentoring, training and genuine career progression in a growing business.

You’ll conduct high-quality FRAs across varied commercial and residential premises, manage workload, and stay current with fire safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Recognised industry qualifications in fire risk assessment.
• Registration with IFE/IFSM and NFRAR is an advantage.
• Experience producing high-quality fire risk assessments.
• Familiarity with social housing fire safety guidance.
• Ability to work under mentorship and follow structured guidance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across competency levels.
• Manage workload, deadlines and client communication.
• Evaluate fire safety measures and recommend improvements.
• Complete FRAs within deadlines (5–7 working days).
• Stay updated on fire safety regulations and best practices.
• Mentor junior assessors where applicable.
• Collaborate with clients and enforcement bodies to ensure adherence to processes.
