Job summary

Brandon James is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join a Midlands-based fire consultancy. The role covers Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester, delivering Type 1 and Type 3 assessments for commercial, residential and public sector projects.

You will conduct site inspections, prepare detailed reports, and advise clients on fire safety. The position offers hybrid working, a strong project pipeline and clear progression to senior roles.

Qualifications

• Experience producing Fire Risk Assessments.
• Knowledge of current UK fire legislation.
• NEBOSH Fire or equivalent desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

A specialist fire consultancy based across the Midlands is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team. This Fire Risk Assessor role will support commercial, residential and public sector projects throughout Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will work alongside experienced consultants delivering Type 1 and Type 3 fire risk assessments.

The Fire Risk Assessor's Role

The Fire Risk Assessor will carry out site inspections, produce detailed reports and provide fire safety advice to clients across healthcare, education and residential portfolios. The Fire Risk Assessor will also support compartmentation reviews and liaise with duty holders regarding compliance improvements.
