Fire Risk Assessor required to join a renowned global multidisciplinary firm to support projects across various sectors in the local area.
The Fire Risk Assessor
The Fire Risk Assessor will conduct fire risk assessments (Type 1 & 3) for residential, healthcare, custodial, education, and commercial properties.
FRA Responsibilities:
- Undertake fire integrity and compartmentation surveys to identify breaches, and propose remedial repairs, including preparation of specifications and designs.
- Provide quality and technical monitoring on construction projects.
- Act as a fire safety advisor to assist clients with their property portfolios.
- Possess good knowledge of Approved Document B, Health Technical Memorandum 05-02, Building Bulletins, and relevant British Standards.
- Review contractors' proposals and comment on their suitability for the intended purpose.
- Assist with project delivery.
- Maintain high levels of communication and punctuality throughout projects.
Fire Risk Assessor Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Level 3 Fire Safety Qualification.
- Experience in undertaking or reviewing Fire Risk Assessments.
- Knowledge of current and upcoming UK fire safety legislation.
