Location: Visits will be required in Leeds, Wakefield, Rotherham, Yorkshire, and Humber

Salary: £45,000 per annum plus car allowance (with potential for negotiation for highly qualified and experienced candidates)
As a Fire Risk Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings and public spaces with fire safety regulations. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments, identify potential fire hazards, and evaluate the associated risks. You will develop and implement effective fire safety plans to mitigate these risks.
You will work closely with clients, providing expert advice on fire safety measures and strategies to prevent fire incidents. Collaboration with fire services, building managers, and surveyors will be essential to ensure fire safety standards are met and maintained. Staying current with fire safety legislation and best practices is also part of your role.
You will deliver fire safety training to employees and stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed about procedures and emergency responses. Producing detailed reports of your findings and recommendations will be crucial for maintaining compliance with fire safety regulations.
To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
