Job summary

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Fire Pump Service Engineer for a client in Luton. The role involves service, maintenance, fault finding and installation of fire pump systems at customer sites, with door-to-door pay and weekly wages preceding ongoing training and genuine career progression.

The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel engines, servicing fire pumps, fault-finding skills, and a valid UK driving licence, with CSCS card desirable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel engines and their operation.
• Experience servicing fire pumps or similar pumping equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical/electrical faults.
• Electrical qualifications desired but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and installation of fire pump drivers and control systems at customer premises.
• Work on diesel engine-driven and three-phase centrifugal pumps.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Service diesel pumps, DC/AC electrical systems and control panels.
• Ensure work is safe, compliant and well-documented.
