Job summary

First Military Recruitment are seeking a Fire Pump Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault-find and install fire pump systems at customer sites around the Luton area. The role offers door-to-door pay and weekly wages with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will work on diesel engine-driven and three-phase centrifugal pumps, with a focus on safe, high-standard service and comprehensive reporting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of working on diesel engines.
• Previous experience servicing fire pumps or similar pumping equipment.
• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Electrical qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the service, maintenance and installation of fire pump drivers and control systems at customer premises.
• Work on diesel engine-driven and three-phase motor-driven centrifugal fire pumps.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Service and maintain diesel pumps, DC electrical systems, AC electrical systems, AC motors and associated control panels.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
• Accurately complete service reports and associated documentation.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle and tools in good working order.
• Deliver excellent customer service while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Comply with all company health and safety procedures and industry regulations.

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Fire Pump Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and installation of fire pump systems at customer sites.
