Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Fire Pump Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault find and install fire pump systems at customer sites across the UK.

You will work on diesel engine-driven and centrifugal pumps, complete service reports, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. The role offers ongoing training, career progression and a pension, with door-to-door pay and weekly wages.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fire pumps or similar pumping equipment.
• Diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and electrical faults.
• Knowledge of diesel engines.
• Electrical qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• PPE supplied and company gear provided.
• Ongoing training and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the service, maintenance and installation of fire pump drivers and control systems at customer premises.
• Work on diesel engine-driven and three-phase motor-driven centrifugal fire pumps.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete service reports and associated documentation.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle and tools.
• Deliver excellent customer service while building client relationships.
• Comply with health and safety procedures and industry regulations.
