Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar commercial role within the fire protection sector or building services industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials relevant to the Fire Engineering industry.
• Ability to produce accurate monthly cost and value reports.

Responsibilities

• Agreement of interim payment amounts with clients.
• Preparing project budgets in conjunction with the Sales team.
• Monitoring budgets against costs and projections on a monthly basis.

Skills

Experience in a commercial role within fire protection sector

Knowledge of standard forms of contract

Proficient in cost control techniques

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and negotiation skills

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying or currently working towards
