Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Fire Ltd. is a specialist in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire safety and electrical systems, serving the public sector with compliance and testing services.

The Fire Maintenance Engineer will work across London & Home Counties, performing planned and reactive maintenance of life safety equipment and emergency lighting. The role includes responding to callouts, asset verification, site surveys, and supporting apprentices.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of life safety equipment.
• Knowledge of BS 5839 and BS 5266 required.
• FIA units (1,3,5) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts.
• Servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
• Respond to emergency callouts and carry out remedial works as required.
• Conduct site surveys and asset verification.
• Install replacement/additional equipment and liaise with clients.
