AGS Tech is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned compliance inspections and functional safety checks across multiple sites in the North West. You will ensure fire safety systems and life safety equipment operate correctly and meet legislation and company standards.

You will proactively identify defects, record findings, raise remedial actions, and liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure all inspections are completed and reports are accurate using company handheld devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire safety, building compliance, facilities management or a similar maintenance environment.
• Understanding of fire safety systems and life safety equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out scheduled compliance inspections across multiple sites in the North West.
• Inspect fire doors and life safety equipment for compliance with legislation.
• Record findings, report issues and raise remedial actions.
• Liaise with internal teams and clients on actions required.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports using company systems and handheld devices.
• Ensure all inspections follow British Standards and health and safety policies.
