Job summary

Rimkus Consulting Group in the UK is seeking a Fire Engineer to join a broad, multi-disciplinary technical team with hybrid working. The role focuses on leading fire engineering delivery across complex built environment projects, including external wall fire risk assessments and remediation programmes, while supporting the wider fire safety sector in the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire engineering consultancy and leadership of projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation.
• Degree in engineering or related field; chartered status preferred or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering and EWS assessments.
• Manage compliance and technical outputs.
• Undertake site inspections and advisory work.
• Mentor the wider team.
• Prepare and review technical reports.
• Cross collaboration with all company disciplines.
