Qualifications

• Experience as Fire Engineer essential.
• Experience developing fire strategies for commercial/residential buildings.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, regulations and guidance.
• Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Ambition to develop your career; Chartered status encouraged with support.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire strategies for commercial and residential buildings.
• Provide fire engineering advice throughout design and construction.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors and other engineers.
• Review designs and propose practical fire safety solutions.
• Produce technical reports, fire strategies and supporting documentation.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Support delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
• Keep up to date with legislation, guidance and industry best practice.
