Job summary

Brandon James is seeking a Fire Engineer to join a growing technical team in the United Kingdom. You will work on bespoke fire strategies, smoke control solutions and performance‑based fire engineering across commercial, residential, mixed‑use and public sector developments.

Your role involves producing fire strategy reports, attending meetings (on-site or remotely), and managing multiple live projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• A degree within Engineering, Fire Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of consultancy experience within Fire Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• A proactive and ambitious mindset with a desire to progress
• Experience producing technical reports and presenting solutions to clients

Responsibilities

• Produce fire strategy reports and documentation
• Attend client and design team meetings on-site or remotely
• Manage multiple live projects from concept to completion
• Assist with fee proposals and support business development
• Deliver clear technical advice to clients and stakeholders
• Mentor Graduate Engineers within the team
• Contribute to research initiatives and continuous improvement projects

A highly respected specialist consultancy is seeking a talented Fire Engineer to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Fire Engineer looking to work on a wide range of complex and high‑profile projects across the built environment sector.

The successful Fire Engineer will support the delivery of bespoke fire strategies, smoke control solutions and performance‑based fire engineering designs across commercial, residential, mixed‑use and public sector developments. This role offers exposure to both new‑build and existing building projects, alongside structured mentoring and genuine progression opportunities.

The Fire Engineer's Role

• Producing fire strategy reports and technical documentation

• Assisting with fee proposals and supporting business development activity
• Delivering clear technical advice to clients and stakeholders
• Supporting and mentoring Graduate Engineers within the team
