Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Fire Door Joiner for roles across Manchester and the North West & Yorkshire. You will install, inspect, and maintain fire doors to stringent safety standards, ensuring compliance with BS 8214 and fire safety regulations.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary, 40-hour weeks, and progression opportunities within a facilities management environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in carpentry & joinery is essential.
• FIRAS or similar certification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install fire-rated doors and door sets to high standards.
• Carry out remedial works to ensure fire safety compliance.
• Conduct fire door surveys and inspections, fix defects.
• Ensure work complies with BS 8214 and fire regs.
• Collaborate with site teams and managers to deliver projects.

Education

NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery

FIRAS / BM Trada certification

Full UK driving licence
