Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Door Joiner for a temporary contract covering projects across the North East of England. The role involves installing, maintaining, and remedial works on fire doors in occupied residential and commercial properties, with travel between sites and a commitment to high workmanship and customer service.

You must hold a valid CSCS card, full UK driving licence, and relevant health and safety certificates; asbestos awareness, manual handling, and face fit

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Joiner, ideally with fire door installation and maintenance experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the North East.
• CSCS Card, Manual Handling Certificate, Asbestos Awareness Certificate, Working at Heights Certificate, Face Fit Certificate are required or desirable.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.

Responsabilidades

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of fire doors and associated ironmongery.
• Carrying out fire door remedial works in line with current regulations.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant fire safety standards.
• Completing work within occupied properties while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
• Accurately recording completed works and reporting any issues identified on site.
• Travelling to multiple locations across the North East as required.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to join our client on a temporary contract covering projects across the North East of England. This role involves carrying out fire door installations, maintenance, and remedial works within occupied residential and commercial properties.

The successful candidate must be reliable, professional, and comfortable travelling throughout the region while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of fire doors and associated ironmongery.
• Carrying out fire door remedial works in line with current regulations.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant fire safety standards.
• Completing work within occupied properties while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joiner, ideally with fire door installation and maintenance experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the North East.
• CSCS Card.
• Manual Handling Certificate.
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
• Working at Heights Certificate.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
• Face Fit Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

• Experience working within social housing or other occupied properties.
• Knowledge of fire door compliance regulations and inspections.
