Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Fire Door Installer to join our social housing refurbishment projects across South Wales. You will install, upgrade, and maintain certified fire doorsets within occupied properties and public buildings, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and manufacturer guidance.

We offer a permanent full-time role with a daily rate of £250–£300, a company vehicle, fuel card and healthcare cover, plus long-term stability and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and upgrading fire doors.
• Knowledge of fire door compliance and passive fire protection.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card.
• Experience working in occupied properties and live environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace fire doorsets.
• Upgrade and maintain fire doors.
• Install and adjust fire-rated hardware.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and project specs.
• Complete installation records and documentation.
• Maintain high workmanship standards.
• Work in occupied residential properties and public buildings.
• Support wider building safety programs.
