Summary of Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Fire Door Installer to carry out fire door maintenance. The ideal candidate must reside in the Guildford area, possess their own van and tools, be very presentable and reliable, and provide two references. The role involves working across the London, Guildford, Aldershot, Woking, Camberley areas, and as far as Portsmouth. Fuel allowance is available. There is a significant opportunity for a permanent position after a 12–16-week contract.

The role primarily involves reactive maintenance on fire doors, as well as new installations. Candidates must know the correct procedures and be capable of inspecting and repairing fire door closures, cutting and lipping door blanks, fitting intumescent strips, and performing sire stopping, with proven experience in these areas.

You will work in various establishments such as hotels, schools, MOD facilities, hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, office blocks, apartments, and office buildings within the Guildford, London, and Portsmouth regions. Presentability is essential.
