Job summary

A well-established provider of passive fire safety solutions is seeking a Fire Door Installer / Carpenter to perform high-quality installations across Wales and the West of England. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and experience in fire door sets installation. This full-time role involves travel to different locations, with accommodations covered by the company, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and maintaining fire door sets.
• Understanding of British Standards relevant to fire door compliance.
• Willingness to complete a DBS (CRB) check.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace complete fire door sets, including frames and seals.
• Carry out remedial works and adjustments as needed.
• Inspect and report defects in existing fire door systems.

Education

NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification

Valid CSCS card
