Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join our mobile team. You will install and maintain fire doors across properties, ensuring compliance with BS 8214 and current fire safety standards.

The role includes carrying out inspections and remedial works, recording progress, and liaising with site managers and tenants. A CSCS card and NVQ in Carpentry are required, with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with fire door installation expertise.
Up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and BS 8214 standards.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry or equivalent.
CSCS card held.

Responsibilities

Install new fire doors and ironmongery to high standards.
Carry out fire door inspections, repairs, and remedial works in line with regulations.
Ensure compliance with the latest fire safety legislation (e.g., BS 8214, BM Trada, FIRAS).
Accurately record completed works and provide reports on compliance.
Work efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to tenants/clients.
Liaise with site managers, residents, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
