Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Fire Door Carpenter to install, maintain and remediate fire doors across properties. You will ensure compliance with fire safety standards and collaborate with site managers to minimise disruption.

The role requires proven carpentry experience, NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry, CSCS card, and BM Trada/FIRAS accreditation. Up to £40,000, van, fuel card, accommodation when required, and career progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Carpenter/Joiner with fire door installation/maintenance.
• Up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standards.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and BM Trada/FIRAS accreditation.
• CSCS Card held and valid.

Responsibilities

• Install new fire doors and ironmongery to high standards.
• Carry out inspections, repairs and remedial works on fire doors.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation (BS 8214, FIRAS, BM Trada).
• Accurately record works and provide compliance reports.
• Work safely and minimise disruption to tenants/clients.
• Liaise with site managers and residents to deliver excellent service.
