About The Client

A respected and forward-thinking fire systems specialist, our client works across a range of contracts within the Greater London area and beyond. With a strong focus on structured planning and proactive communication, they provide their engineers with the tools and foresight to work efficiently—even when facing complex schedules.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and installation of fire detection systems
• System fault-finding and diagnostics
• Working with Fire systems and other major platforms
• Completing detailed handover documentation and client liaison
• Supporting multi-phase project delivery with a mix of install and commissioning
• Flexibility to work split shifts during handover weeks (planned in advance)
• Occasional travel outside of London as required
  
  

Key Competencies

• Proven experience with commissioning and installing fire alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of Protec equipment
• Solid fault-finding ability across fire systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required
  
  

Benefits

• £36,000 salary, paid every 4 weeks (13 payments per year) – more regular income than the standard 12-month pay structure
• Travel time and night shifts paid extra, with overtime at 1.5x – including night rates when monthly hours are met
• 33 days holiday annually including bank holidays – 25 days standard leave is above average, and paid at an enhanced rate
