Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to cover Bristol and Cardiff across a portfolio of commercial offices. The role is mobile, with a Monday–Friday pattern and a company van provided.

You will service, maintain and repair fire alarms and security systems, carry out PPMs and reactive repairs, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards on site. Excellent customer service and driving licence essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fire & Security Engineer in commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Ability to work across multiple sites in a mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing fire alarm and security systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing remedial works.
• Working on fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control and CCTV.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.

Fire & Security Engineer - Bristol & Cardiff - Up to £40,000k per annum We are recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a facilities management team, covering the Bristol and Cardiff areas. This is a mobile role working on a portfolio of commercial offices around Bristol, Cardiff and South Wales.

You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and fault-finding on fire and security systems across a portfolio of commercial office buildings. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established FM environment, offering a competitive salary, a company van, excellent holiday entitlement and, importantly, no call-out rota.

The Role As a Fire & Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing fire alarm and security systems.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience working within commercial buildings or an FM environment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A professional approach with good customer service and communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training would be advantageous.
