Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to service and maintain alarm and security systems across Bristol, Cardiff and South Wales. The role is a mobile position within a portfolio of commercial offices, offering a company van, fuel card and generous holiday entitlement, with no call-out rota and a Monday–Friday pattern.

• Experience with fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience in FM environment or commercial buildings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing fire alarm and security systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing remedial works.
• Working on systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control and CCTV.
• Ensuring work complies with industry standards and health and safety requirements.
• Completing service reports, maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Building relationships with clients and site teams across commercial office buildings.

Fire & Security Engineer - Bristol & Cardiff - Up to £40,000k per annum

We are recruiting an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a facilities management team, covering the Bristol and Cardiff areas. This is a mobile role working on a portfolio of commercial offices around Bristol, Cardiff andSouth Wales.

You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and fault-finding on fire and security systems across a portfolio of commercial office buildings. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established FM environment, offering a competitive salary, a company van, excellent holiday entitlement and, importantly, no call-out rota.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Experience working within commercial buildings or an FM environment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A professional approach with good customer service and communication skills.
• Relevant industry qualifications and manufacturer training would be advantageous.
