Job summary

QUINTESSENTIAL BRANDS UK GROUP LTD in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to service and maintain a range of life-safety and access systems across multiple sites.

You will perform reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and assist with installations, while ensuring compliance with BS5839 and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Fire & Security engineering
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance on relevant systems
• Good understanding of BS5839 standards
• Experience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspections
• Full UK driving licence
• Smoke control / AOV systems experience
• Fire extinguisher servicing
• Experience using CASH or similar systems

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance (PPM)

• Logging jobs accurately using CASH and providing clear reports

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—perfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.
