Job summary

4Way Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service & Maintenance Engineer for the Leeds area. You will service, maintain and commission a range of fire and electronic security systems, diagnosing faults and restoring systems to full operation while maintaining comprehensive service records.

You will work with fire alarms, CCTV and access control platforms, with opportunities for manufacturer training and professional development within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background working with fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Experience with a variety of industry-leading manufacturers and integrated security platforms.
• Good understanding of networking principles and associated technologies is advantageous.
• Previous experience commissioning and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and commissioning across a range of fire and electronic security systems.
• Diagnose faults and restore systems to full working order efficiently.
• Support the installation, configuration and testing of fire alarm systems where required.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship while ensuring customer expectations are met on every visit.
• Maintain accurate digital records and service documentation following each job.
• Work in line with current health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Provide professional customer support and technical advice when required.
• Take part in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
