Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service & Small Works Engineer to cover Hampshire, Dorset and Sussex. The role focuses on service, maintenance, fault finding and small works across commercial and industrial sites, with a genuine 4 day working week.

You will service, fault find, maintain and carry out small works on Fire & Security systems including alarms, CCTV and access control, while building strong customer relationships and contributing to reports and

Fire & Security Service & Small Works Engineer

Hampshire | Dorset | Sussex

£38,000 to £43,000 Basic + Call Out

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established team covering Hampshire, Dorset and Sussex.

This is a hands on role focused on service, small works, fault finding and maintenance across commercial and industrial sites, with the added benefit of a genuine 4 day working week.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, fault finding, maintaining and carrying out small works on a range of Fire & Security systems across commercial and industrial environments.

The role will involve:

• Service and maintenance of Fire & Security systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Small works and remedial works
• Working across fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
• Carrying out works across commercial and industrial sites
• Completing service documentation and reports
• Working independently while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Participating in a call out rota

The Working Week

One of the major benefits of this position is the 4 day working week.

Monday to Thursday: 34 hours per week

School holidays: 38 hours per week, with Friday mornings worked

Outside of the above, there is a call out rota which does include Fridays.

• £38,000 to £43,000 basic salary

About You

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in service, maintenance, fault finding and small works.

You should be confident working independently on customer sites and have good practical knowledge of Fire & Security systems.

Experience across a combination of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control would be beneficial.
