Work for a Gent, Siemens & Kentec Partner - Progression, salary increases & on-going training

We are hiring for a skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer with experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing fire alarm systems, specialising in GENT, Kentec, and Siemens systems. Responsible for conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and ensuring systems meet safety regulations. Open to engineers at all levels, from junior to senior, with opportunities for growth and development in servicing a wide range of fire detection systems across various environments.

  • Salary – happy to consider any Fire/Fire & Security engineers between £25k - £45k (Up to £48k on occasion for top-end engineers) – majority of the work is Fire so for most roles you'll have strong Fire knowledge, Security knowledge a bonus but not essential
  • Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm – plenty of overtime opportunities mainly on weekends
  • Required Skills/ Panels - General experience on addressable and conventional panels i.e Kentec, Advanced, HAES, C-tec etc.– GENT and/or Notifier and/or Protec knowledge would be a bonus
  • Van provided. This can be used privately
  • Pay progression as engineers progress & do well. We do in-house training & regularly send engineers on courses for different systems types i.e GENT, some of which is done in-house.
  • Sites/ Projects (Retail/ Commercial, etc) – Retail & commercial predominantly but also residential, retail, hospitals, schools, industrial – very varied.
  • They are a forward thinking and progressive company. They always look to reward engineers through additional training and responsibility once this is earned. They are GENT, Siemens and Kentec partners and offer their engineers training on these systems.
  • The Company may pay £5 for photos/videos submitted that can be used on our social media platforms.
  • 20 days holiday + BH, extra day per year served. 30 days at 10 years service
