Valoris Group is seeking a Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our nationwide team. The role covers Manchester, Liverpool and Preston with travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.

You will service and maintain fire alarm systems and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance and high-quality reports. The ideal candidate is an electrical apprentice in the final year or a recently qualified engineer, comfortable with emergency lighting works and ready to travel.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with emergency lighting testing and replacements
• Willing to travel nationwide and stay overnight

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and fault-find on commercial fire alarm systems
• Test emergency lighting and replace fittings where necessary

• Work in line with relevant regulations (e.g., BS 5839) and company safety protocols
• Travel to client sites across the country, with overnight accommodation arranged

Were recruiting on behalf of a national fire safety provider looking for a committed Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer. This position is ideal for someone early in their electrical career perhaps a third-year apprentice or recently qualified engineer whos keen to specialise in fire alarm servicing and grow with a business that supports development and nationwide work.

Youll be joining a collaborative team delivering compliance and safety services across the UK, with travel and overnight stays typically required from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
