4Way Recruitment Ltd in Swindon is recruiting a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a domestic and social housing focused team. The role covers servicing conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, maintaining emergency lighting, and ensuring safe, compliant fire safety service delivery.

The package includes a basic salary up to £45,000, standby payments, a company vehicle for personal use, overtime at time and a half, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, £60 call-out payments, and paid

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' hands-on experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Solid understanding of BS5839-1 fire alarm standards.
• Full UK driving licence, clean licence preferred.
• Background in social housing environments an advantage.
• FIA training or qualifications desirable though not essential.

Responsabilités

• Operate safely and professionally within domestic and social housing settings.
• Carry out servicing and maintenance on both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Service and maintain emergency lighting systems.
• Maintain fire extinguishers as part of a wider fire safety service.

• Basic Salary up to £45,000 basic
• Standby payment of £140 per week

• £60 call-out payment per job
• 11 hours rest guaranteed after a call-out
• Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way
