Job summary

4Way Recruitment Ltd in Swindon is recruiting a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a domestic and social housing focused team. The role covers servicing conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, maintaining emergency lighting, and ensuring safe, compliant fire safety service delivery.

The package includes a basic salary up to £45,000, standby payments, a company vehicle for personal use, overtime at time and a half, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, £60 call-out payments, and paid

Qualifications

At least 3 years' hands-on experience with conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
Solid understanding of BS5839-1 fire alarm standards.
Full UK driving licence, clean licence preferred.
Background in social housing environments an advantage.
FIA training or qualifications desirable though not essential.

Responsibilities

Operate safely and professionally within domestic and social housing settings.
Carry out servicing and maintenance on both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
Service and maintain emergency lighting systems.
Maintain fire extinguishers as part of a wider fire safety service.
