Job summary

MJ Health Ltd. seeks an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to install, service and maintain fire alarm systems across the North West. You will diagnose faults, complete certificates, and liaise with clients and site managers to ensure compliant, safe operation.

The role requires knowledge of BS 5839 standards, driving licence, and IT-literate reporting. A customer-focused, independent worker with strong fault-finding skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (installation and servicing).
• Solid knowledge of fire alarm regulations and British Standards.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• IT literacy for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire alarm systems to BS 5839 standards.
• Service existing systems and diagnose faults for repairs.
• Complete service reports, certificates and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, site managers and other engineers.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in on-call rota as required.
• Manage tools, equipment and company vehicle responsibly.
