Job summary

AGS Tech is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer based in Oldham, Greater Manchester for a full-time role with a £35,000 salary. The engineer will be responsible for installation, servicing, and fault-finding across a range of fire alarm systems.

Essentially, you should have strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, BS 5839, and hold a full UK driving licence, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, servicing, and fault diagnosis (≤140 chars).
• Good understanding of BS 5839 (Part 1 & Part 6).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service fire alarm systems across multiple sites.
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on a range of fire alarm equipment.
• Liaise with clients and coordinate with maintenance teams as required.
