Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to service and install fire alarm systems across Belfast and Northern Ireland. You will deliver excellent customer service, manage your territory efficiently, and work with a supportive team to meet tight deadlines.

The role offers a base up to £32K (DoE) with an OTE of £40K, a company vehicle with private use, 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance, and extensive training and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with fire alarm systems.
• FIA training (or equivalent desirable).
• Good IT skills.
• A solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety regulations.
• Ability to lift equipment and work at height.
• Strong customer-focused approach.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Service fire devices safely and responsibly.
• Manage your territory and time effectively, prioritising jobs to ensure efficient completion.
• Work collaboratively with your team.
• Work to tight deadlines.
• Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems.
• Complete accurate engineer service reports.
• Identify and report system deficiencies or deviations.
• Maintain a strong Health & Safety focus, identifying risks and reporting concerns promptly.
• Aim to achieve a first-time fix wherever possible.
