YouLend Limited in London is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join the Commercial team. You will work on forecasting, partner pricing, and building modelling systems that shape pricing decisions and performance management across multiple units.

The role offers a path to influence strategy, with a focus on analytical rigor, dashboards, and data infrastructure to support growth in a fintech lending context.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in an analytical, data, or commercially oriented role.
• Strong SQL capability required; Excel modelling essential.
• Python experience valued.
• Ability to build models and dashboards from scratch.
• Clear, structured written communication.
• High ownership and proactive attitude.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and bringing structure.
• Curious about commercial outcomes and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support production and improvement of commercial forecasts, inputs, outputs, scenarios, tracking, and variance analysis.
• Build and maintain dashboards and data infrastructure across teams.
• Produce driver breakdowns and structured performance summaries.
• Run monthly recalibration and variance decomposition for performance.
• Identify forecasting weaknesses and improve models and processes.
• Analyze partner performance and pricing dynamics for growth.
• Size impact of pricing to optimise commercial changes.
• Support development of commercial proposals and pricing recommendations.
• Track levers and run retrospectives on changes.
• Monitor partner performance post-change and flag issues.
• Improve data structures to reduce manual work.
• Make recommendations guiding partner strategy across teams.
