Job summary

Insignis, a fast-growing fintech, is seeking a hands-on engineer to bridge our platform with partner banks and distribution networks. You’ll spend time with problem owners, prototype quickly against partner APIs, and push capabilities into production with proper observability and compliance.

You’ll work across .NET/C#, TypeScript, Vue, and Python to deliver robust, scalable solutions in a hybrid London setting. Strong communication with external partners and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong general-purpose engineering in at least one core stack (.NET/C#, TypeScript/Vue), with Python for rapid work.
• Track record of taking something from zero to running in production, ideally in/or near regulated or financial domain.
• Comfort with distributed/event-driven systems, APIs, cloud (Azure ideal; AWS/GCP transferable), containers, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication; credible and trustworthy in front of partner stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed with partners and internal product teams to understand problems and translate into buildable requirements.
• Rapidly prototype: partner API integrations, white-labelled apps, new deposit-product flows, onboarding tooling; balance speed of learning with design.
• Advance prototypes to early production with robustness, observability, and compliance in collaboration with production engineers.
• Own handoffs: instrument, document, and de-risk; ensure production absorption is feasible.
• Adhere to Insignis regulatory and operational guardrails (Consumer Duty, FCA SYSC, DORA, UK GDPR) and front-load compliance/ISMS.
• Contribute learnings back into the platform to build reusable capabilities and guide next-gen architecture.
