Job summary

the company Inc. is building Africa’s all-in-one financial platform, serving millions with seamless payments, banking, and business management tools. As a Senior Product Designer you will shape UX for financial products, mentor designers, and champion user‑centred design.

You will lead end-to-end design, conduct research, and collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver scalable UI components and a growing design system.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior product design role with UX focus.
• Strong visual design, typography, grids and layout knowledge.
• Expertise in interaction design, IA, and user flows.
• Experience designing for mobile and web with responsive UX.
• Knowledge of behavioural psychology shaping user decisions.
• Experience with usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
• Ability to translate insights into design decisions and drive impact.
• Proficiency with UX analytics tools and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Lead end-to-end design process from discovery to UI execution.
• Conduct advanced user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure faithful implementation.
• Design scalable UI components and contribute to design system evolution.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design across products.
• Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of excellence.
• Stay abreast of fintech trends to drive product innovation.
