Job summary

FT Partners in London is seeking an Analyst to join our Private Capital Markets team. You will support investor targeting, marketing materials, and capital-raise processes under the guidance of senior bankers in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

You will help build datasets and marketing assets, strengthen investor networks, and contribute to deal execution while developing your expertise in fintech-focused capital markets.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related capital markets role.
• Undergraduate degree with a First or high 2:1 from a top-tier institution preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the initiative to identify and act on opportunities without being prompted.
• High level of integrity and sound professional judgement.
• Comfortable engaging with investment professionals and navigating institutional investor relationships.
• Permanent right to work in the UK required (FT Partners does not sponsor work visas).

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse market data to enhance investor targeting efforts and support new investor discovery initiatives.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and investor communications to strengthen connectivity across the firm’s network.
• Support the build-out of internal infrastructure and robust datasets that enable better, faster solutions for clients.
• Contribute to the execution of live capital raise and M&A processes, working closely with senior bankers across deal teams.
• Develop and maintain tools critical to strengthening the firm’s investor relationships and improving deal execution.
