Job summary

Capgemini Invent is looking for a Cloud Economics/FinOps Consultant/Senior Consultant to join its Cloud Advisory capability. You will advise clients on cloud economics, cost optimisation and governance, helping them realise business value and reduce carbon footprint.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, training, and vendor management across multiple client engagements. Based in the UK, the role supports hybrid working with office bases in London, Manchester or Glasgow and flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud cost optimisation/FinOps
• Ability to prepare financial reports and forecasts for cloud spend
• Strong governance and policy formulation skills

Responsibilities

• Cost Optimisation Analysis: Review cloud usage to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: prepare forecasts and present cloud spend trajectories to senior management.
• Policy and Governance: establish cloud governance policies and cost controls.
• Training and Enablement: deliver FinOps training and promote cost-awareness culture.
• Vendor Engagement: manage relationships with cloud vendors.
