Job summary

Valarian Technologies is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to own finance operations, month-end accounting and management reporting within a growing, early-stage business. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will run the monthly close and produce management accounts while overseeing compliance, equity, systems and business-support workstreams.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and finance operations.
• Ability to own monthly close and produce management accounts.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day finance operations including AP/AR, expenses, and supplier onboarding.
• Manage month-end close, journals, reconciliations and board reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cost analyses with variance commentary.
• Coordinate tax, statutory filings and equity-related finance activities.
• Lead systems and process improvements across finance tools.
