Job Title: FinOps Associate – Part Qualified
Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in our office at Future Space in Bristol
Countex Finance is a specialist outsourced finance and CFO service, partnering with ambitious science and technology-led businesses to make finance a catalyst for growth, not a burden. We provide a complete, scalable finance function — from core accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls through to forecasting, treasury management, investor relations, and strategic CFO support. Our collaborative and agile approach helps founders reduce stress, save time, and build the financial infrastructure needed to scale with confidence.
We are looking for a part-qualified Chartered Accountant to join our growing team as a FinOps Associate. This role is ideal for someone who is currently studying towards their accountancy qualification, either through the Level 7 Accountancy Professional Apprenticeship or another route, and is looking for a new environment in which to continue their studies, gain broader experience and take on further client responsibility.
You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, managing day-to-day finance processes with support from our junior team. As you develop, you will have the chance to work alongside our senior team on strategic client accounts, giving you broad exposure to the finance function of growing businesses in a fast-paced environment.
We will support you to complete your qualification alongside your day-to-day work, including study support and exam leave. Please note that we are unable to fund qualification costs directly, so applicants will need to be eligible for continued apprenticeship funding or have existing funding arrangements in place for their studies.
