Walter Lilly is seeking a detail-focused Finishing Manager to lead the final stages of a major science and technology development in Windlesham. You will oversee finishing trades, snagging, quality inspections and handovers across multiple buildings, collaborating with site teams, subcontractors and consultants to ensure the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finishing Manager or in a similar site-management role.
• Strong understanding of finishing trades and snagging processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Solid focus on health, safety and site discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage finishing and close-out activities across multiple buildings.
• Coordinate subcontractors and finishing trades to meet programme deadlines.
• Carry out quality inspections and identify defects or snagging items.
• Track and manage snagging lists through to completion.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship throughout finishing stages.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve issues quickly.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Support pre-handover inspections and client demonstrations.
• Maintain health and safety standards during final construction phases.
• Assist in achieving smooth project handovers.
